Stevie Ray

Stormy's Lightning x Pusher's Entrance
Stevie Ray is a gorgeous four year old, jet black Tennessee Walking Horse gelding with the breeding, gaits, and temperament to make someone a great trail horse. Sired by Reserve World Champion Stormy's Lightning (who is also a full-brother to the dam of Jose' Jose'), and out of a daughter of multi-WGC Pusher's Benny Boy, "Steve" is bred in the blue. His pedigree also sports WGC Ebony Masterpiece, Prides Generator, and the legendary Pride's Stormy Night.
Stevie Ray's looks are hard to beat. He is high headed, with a beautiful head, huge shoulder, and perfect neck. Anyone riding this horse will be noticed, and that says a lot when the horse in question is a solid black - the most common Walking Horse color!
Good looks and a good pedigree aren't all this horse has to offer, though. He is calm and sensible, naturally gaited, and intelligent. Steve is a reliable mount on the trails, and is very sure footed with strong hooves that do not need shoes. He is an easy keeper and maintains a good body condition year round, receiving only sweet feed and pasture. Steve does anything you could want your trail mount to do including neck rein, back, jump logs, cross water/mud/ditches, and ride in any position (front, middle or back) you choose. He has been through desensitizing training and will do anything that involves a tarp or plastic bag. Steve has also been taught his canter, and has a great motor. He can perform a flat walk, running walk, and rack, and is registered with TWHBEA.
He stands at around 15.1hh and has very good bone - he is sturdy while not giving the appearance of being "thick." Stevie Ray also has perfect ground manners; he clips, bathes, loads, stands to be saddled/bridled, allows his feet to be handled, and loves to be groomed. He is ready to make someone a fantastic trail horse!
