Genette is an extremely sharp fall 2012 filly by General Hector and out of Chromette. There are so many good things to say about her, but I guess we will start with her pedigree. Her sire, Hector, is a son of WGC Colors in General and the TWHNC WC mare, Generators Winning Colors. This also puts Gen.'s Major General and Prides Generator on the top of this filly's pedigree. Her dam, Chromette, is a direct daughter of WGC The Pusher C.G. and out of a spectacular Generator daughter, who was a top show horse producer as well as a maternal sister to the great Pusher's Doing Time. Whew! Chromette herself has produced show horses, and her 2010 filly by Jose' Jose' who we bred and raised was started and super sharp on pads before being bred herself this fall. Chromette throws a sharp, talented foal every time, and this one could be her best one for us yet - spotted or not.
Genette is "all" Walking Horse, but with the spotted color. You just don't see spotted horses of this quality. She is very high headed, with a beautiful long neck and keen head and ear. Her black and white coloring & blue eyes just serve to make her even more striking. Genette has very balanced conformation - with a laid back shoulder, nice hip, and correct legs with a good amount of bone. When she moves out in the field, it is truly impressive. She sits on her hind end and walks, naturally.
Genette is a lit up tobiano/sabino, meaning she is also homozygous for color - she will produce a tobiano or sabino foal every time she is bred even if the stallion is solid colored. She also has one full blue and one partial blue eye, and is most likely homozygous black. She has outstanding ground manners and just loves people, she will approach you in the field. She clips, bathes, parks out, loads in a trailer, stands tied, and allows you to handle or touch anywhere on her body without any problems. She has a great foundation, like all our foals, and will be very easy to start under saddle. Offered for sale with TWHBEA registration complete. She is priced reasonably for a filly of this quality.
