Hector is DNA tested by the University of Kentucky to be homozygous for the tobiano gene, and by Animal Genetics in Florida to be homozygous black. He is EE aa TT.

We GUARANTEE 100% SPOTS from spotted AND solid mares, or we'll give you a full refundand a free re-breed!
***Hector can ONLY produce black and whites or bay and whites from non-dilute mares.***

Hector is an incredibly well-bred stallion. He is sired by the many times World and World Grand Champion and Horse of the Year, Colors in General, who is a son of the late, great, Gen.'s Major General. Hector is the only stallion out of his dam, the great Generators Winning Colors. Winning Colors, a direct daughter of Prides Generator, was the first spotted horse to ever win a World Championship at the TWH Celebration, and is also a full sister to the popular breeding stallion, WC Generator's Color Guard. Hector himself is a full brother to Kaycee, the 2007 NSSHA Open Shod 2 Year Old WGC.

There is not another homozygous tobiano with a pedigree this great in existence - and in fact it would be difficult to find another spotted Walker with a maternal line this strong. We feel that Hector is undoubtedly the most royally bred homozygous stallion standing in the industry today.

Hector stands a measured 16.1 hands high. He has good bone and substance and is built to last, but has a keen head/ear and lovely neck - all traits that he is consistently passing to his offspring. He is naturally gaited and long striding, with extremely correct movement in his back end and natural head shake and stride. Hector has consistently been passing his natural gait and people-loving temperament on to his foals as well, making them equally suitable for trail riding as the show ring.

Due to drastically reducing the size of our broodmare herd, Hector is currently being offered for sale. We are asking $3500 and to retain some breedings. Call Margaret at 931-205-7474 for more information.

Stud Fee: $300 LSFG

Mare care: $5/day in pasture, $8/day in stall.
