WC Dottie Blue Eyes

Georgia Firewalker x My Colors are CountryGold, by Colors Cost a Plenty

"Dottie" is as awesome a horse as anyone could ask for. Standing 14.3hh at 7 years old and registered TWHBEA and SSHBEA, Dottie has been our personal riding/broodmare here since she was a 2 year old. She was started by professional trainer Charlie Moore in Shelbyville as a 2 year old, then we brought her here and trail rode her for a year before breeding her. We also tried our hand at some shows with her, and Dottie proved herself very adept at SSHBEA Sport Horse, winning the 2009 2 Year Old Reining World Championship. She does anything you could need to ask a horse to do, from walk along nicely on the trails on a loose rein, to gait consistently (and very smoothly), canters, neck reins, parks out, barrel race/pole bends, and is a great jumper. Of course, she also can hold her own over a trail obstacle course. Dottie is a spectacular mare with absolutely no bad habits - she lives out on pasture with around 20 other horses and is always easy to catch and handle once caught. She can be ridden a few times a week or a few times a year and always acts the same. She's as steady and reliable as they come, and suitable for any level rider.

Dottie is also spectacularly bred; sired by Georgia Firewalker and out of a direct Colors Cost A Plenty mare, and she has raised 2 beautiful colts for us - The Georgia General and The Creamator. She has been an easy breeder and great mother for both of her colts.

If you want something that has done it all, is extremely reliable and easy to ride, and can even raise you some nice foals, Dottie is the one. She is currently bred to General Hector for a May 2015 foal, continuing their trend of producing knock-out foals. The Georgia General was their first colt followed by an equally nice black and white filly in 2014.
