Confederate Girl

Regulator x Confederate Gal, by WGC Dark Spirit's Rebel
Confederate Girl, a.k.a. "Frosty" (due to the gorgeous "frosting" in her mane/tail), is a striking, incredibly correct, and well-pedigreed mare. Her color is amber cream champagne, which broken down means she has a cream gene and a champagne gene on bay (please visit our web page on Equine Color Genetics for info on horse color genetics).
Aside from color, we always look for a horse that is just overall nice. Frosty has outstanding conformation - she is tall (measures 16hh at the withers at 4 years old), high headed, with a gorgeous feminine face, and is put together beautifully, with a laid-back shoulder, great hip, and long, beautiful neck among other features. Her gait is impressive, as it should be. Her dam was a top padded performance show horse, tying extremely well at many prestigious shows including the Celebration (top 3). Frosty's maternal grandsire is WGC Dark Spirit's Rebel, her second dam is by Pride's Genius, and her 3rd dam is by Spirit of Midnight. Additionally, Frosty's second dam, Performing Genius, is also the dam of such top show horses as WC A Private Benjamin and A Major Talent. Her sire is our late cremello champagne stallion Regulator, who was an all around outstanding horse.
Talk about getting it "all" in one horse! We are extremely excited about this nice filly and can't wait to see what she will produce when bred to Hector. The first foal from this long anticipated cross is due on 2014!

This outstanding young mare is going to Germany!
